Awaken the Spirit
John Paul II is a Catholic high school created within the rich tradition of the Catholic faith. Through our mission to build character through service and academic excellence, we seek to foster an active faith community by bearing witness to the Gospel values. We seek to teach students to work actively to improve the quality of life within their communities and churches through the use of their God-given gifts in the service of others. Students have the opportunity to explore their faith with their peers in a variety of ways.

Inclusive & Welcoming
While we are rooted in the Catholic faith and the teachings of the Gospels, we are an inclusive community that welcomes individuals from all faiths and beliefs. In fact, all students at JPII are welcome to participate in confession and weekly mass. In addition to learning about Catholicism, theology courses at JPII teach students about a broad array of world religions, their histories and their beliefs and allow students to deepen and strengthen their own faith.
Each fall, our entire student body embarks on an enriching student-led spiritual retreat. During this time, students are encouraged to explore their faith, wherever it may be. Meditation, group discussions and various opportunities of self-discovery are the hallmarks of the retreat; and every student, regardless of faith, will have the opportunity to take part in the confession Sacrament.
