The academic program at JPII prepares students for the rigors of college coursework and life after graduation by fostering a spirit of self-discovery, independence, and service. Our highly-qualified faculty and low student-to-teacher ratio allow students to receive all of the individualized attention they need to foster their unique interests and discover ways they’ll serve Christ and the world in which they live.

Senior Thesis Seminar
A capstone philosophy course, the Senior Thesis Seminar is a requirement for graduation in which students write, present, and defend a thesis paper with their faculty thesis advisors. Students experience the compatibility and complementarity of faith and reason in a seminar in which they are challenged with meaningful texts and deepen their understanding of those texts by discussions that follow the Socratic method.
