Equipment: 20 dedicated esports computers featuring AMD Ryzen Threadripper Pro 3945WX processors, Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti video cards, 2TB M.2 SSDs, mechanical keyboards, RGB gaming mice, and 27” gaming monitors.

Leagues:

  • Stay Plugged In (staypluggedin.gg)
Stay Plugged In is an esports recruiting platform for college scholarships, providing opportunities for students to compete in front of a network of hundreds of college esports programs with the potential to earn scholarships.
  • HSEL league (highschoolesportsleague.com)
High School Esports League was founded in 2012 and remains the largest and longest-running competitive gaming organization for high school students. HSEL has achieved success in high school esports thanks to its STEM.org-certified programs, scholarships, and a tournament platform that arms high schools with the knowledge and resources required to positively impact students through competitive gaming.

If these leagues are not playing the games students want to play we will explore other leagues like NASEF or PlayVS.

Depending on the league, competitions are organized into seasons (spring, fall, summer), weekly tournaments, or showcase series.

If you are interested in participating in esports at JPII, please contact Mr. Kellum at kkellum@jp2highschool.com.
