Job Posting: Technology Educator & STEM Lab Coordinator
John Paul II Catholic High School in Greenville, NC is accepting résumés and letters of interest for a technology educator and STEM lab coordinator.
Hours per week: 40 (full-time)
Key Responsibilities / Day-to-Day Job Functions
- Teaching high school students technology and STEM-related elective courses
- Access and record students’ progress and provide grades & feedback
- Classroom management
- Lesson planning
- Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and participate in regular meetings
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum level of education: bachelor’s degree in education or content area with a NC Teaching License
- Successful completion of background check
- Minimum amount of work experience
- Years of related work experience: at least 1-3 years
- Area of related work experience: teaching in a high school environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with high school students
- Experience planning and preparing engaging and content-rich lab experiences
- Proficient with technology specifically Apple products
Position Start Date: July 1, 2024 (candidate of choice will start in July to allow time to participate in STEM lab training)
